A standout bottle

Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you Invigorating and aromatic — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with sharp character that feels authentic and unprocessed and the swedish rye character shines through. The with a warming ginger burn and a clean. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Virtuous Vodka.

As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get mineral freshness — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Excellent value with beautiful texture. LiV-Pol / Pernod Ricard has clearly mastered their craft.

Simply brilliant

I keep coming back to this bottle and appreciating the subtlety. The white pepper on the nose is genuinely there if you take a moment to notice. On the palate, Full-bodied and velvety is rich and satisfying, with rye spice developing. A vodka that rewards attention. At 40% ABV, the proof is perfectly judged.

Bit disappointed. The nose is fine — I got some Candied cereals — but on the palate it's too one-dimensional. At £35, I expect more character. The vanilla drops off quickly. The tasting notes in the review didn't match my experience. Might work better in cocktails than neat.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The nose has some character but on the palate there's a harshness that I wasn't expecting from the review. The neither too sweet nor too subtle described didn't come through for me. The Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly has a burn where I wanted clean warmth. Others clearly rate it highly so it may be personal preference. Won't be buying another bottle though.

Worth every penny

I was reading the tasting notes in the review and thought they sounded too good to be true for a vodka, but they're accurate. The There is a lovely fresh is genuinely there, the The creamy potato base adds body and smoothness delivers, and the finish is exactly as described. Served this at a tasting with friends last weekend — everyone was surprised how much character it has. We did a blind comparison against two other brands and this won hands down.

Chopin Potato Vodka is outstanding

The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got vanilla and green apple freshness. On the palate, the Rich potato character with vanilla is beautifully done, and the a clean mineral quality. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got a faint mineral quality with citrus zest and soft bread. On the palate, the Medium-bodied with a balanced sweetness is beautifully done, and the Clean and smooth with a short peppery fade. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

I can see why people rate this but it's not quite my favourite. The Bright lemon zest and lime with a fresh is clean — really approachable — but the palate is a touch too neutral for my preferences. The Well-balanced sweetness is smooth and easy, which makes it good for vodka newcomers. I was expecting a bit more character given the editorial score.

Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised Smooth and creamy with soft wheat and vanilla ice cream, but the palate is flat and the Medium disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The gentle wheat sweetness the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.
