Pleasant enough

I can see why people rate this but it's not quite my favourite. The Bright lemon zest and lime with a fresh is clean — really approachable — but the palate is a touch too neutral for my preferences. The Well-balanced sweetness is smooth and easy, which makes it good for vodka newcomers. I was expecting a bit more character given the editorial score.

Better than expected

Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the Subtle and clean with earthy potato — that part is nice. But the Excellent value didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the clean with a gentle earthy fade is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.

A real gem

Picked this up after reading the review here and it's everything they said and more. The Bright lemon zest and lime with a fresh drew me in from the first pour. On the palate, Well-balanced sweetness are elegant rather than aggressive — exactly what you want from a quality vodka. The Clean and citrusy with a refreshing fade is clean and inviting. Makes a brilliant Martini and equally good sipped neat. This will be a permanent fixture on my shelf.

Bit disappointed. The nose is fine — I got some Clean and slightly sweet with corn — but on the palate it's too one-dimensional. At $20, I expect more character. The Short to medium drops off quickly. The tasting notes in the review didn't match my experience. Might work better in cocktails than neat.

Expected more

Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised Clean and slightly sweet with corn and vanilla, but the palate is flat and the clean with gentle corn sweetness disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The Corn sweetness with vanilla undertones and a clean the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.

Worth every penny

I was reading the tasting notes in the review and thought they sounded too good to be true for a vodka, but they're accurate. The Clean — subtle grain character and a hint of sweetness is genuinely there, the gentle warmth delivers, and the Clean and measured — grain fading gently is exactly as described. Served this at a tasting with friends last weekend — everyone was surprised how much character it has. We did a blind comparison against two other brands and this won hands down.

Decent vodka for the price. The nose is clean — I got the vanilla that the review mentions — but the palate didn't wow me. The Distinctly creamy and full-bodied is fine but nothing special, and I'd have preferred more character coming through. That said, the Long and creamy with lingering earth is clean enough. Works well in cocktails where you don't need a premium bottle.

What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you clean grain and orchard blossom, and on the palate it's all about refreshing crispness. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with Clean and short — pear and cool freshness. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.

Prairie Organic Vodka is outstanding

The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got vanilla and mineral freshness. On the palate, the Pure and unadorned is beautifully done, and the clean and pleasant with gentle sweetness. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

Solid mixer that punches above its weight

Picked this up on a whim and it's become my go-to for cocktails. Clean, neutral nose with just a whisper of citrus peel. On the palate it's soft and round — none of that chemical burn you get from cheaper bottles. Makes a brilliant Martini and disappears beautifully into a Moscow Mule.

Solid middle-of-the-road

It's a solid vodka. The nose has Quite fragrant but verging on artificial and some subtlety, but on the palate the flavour profile doesn't quite deliver the complexity I was hoping for. The Short and sweet with fading tropical fruit is a bit brief. Still enjoyable though — I keep reaching for it when making cocktails rather than sipping neat.

Blown away by this vodka

Bought this on the strength of the review here and I'm so glad I did. The vanilla on the nose are subtle but present, and the palate delivers — Very approachable with Corn sweetness with vanilla undertones and a clean. The finish has Short to medium that proves vodka is far from flavourless. Hats off to Fifth Generation / Mockingbird Distillery — this is exceptional craft. Already on my second bottle.
