A real gem

Picked this up after reading the review here and it's everything they said and more. The subtle bread dough with a faint floral lift drew me in from the first pour. On the palate, Full-bodied and velvety are elegant rather than aggressive — exactly what you want from a quality vodka. The a clean fade is clean and inviting. Makes a brilliant Martini and equally good sipped neat. This will be a permanent fixture on my shelf.

Not for me

I wanted to like this more than I did. The nose has Clean — subtle grain character and a hint of sweetness but on the palate there's a harshness that I wasn't expecting from the review. The satisfying texture described didn't come through for me. The Clean and measured — grain fading gently has a burn where I wanted clean warmth. Others clearly rate it highly so it may be personal preference. Won't be buying another bottle though.

Decent everyday vodka

A reliable pour that won't blow your mind but does the job. The nose has Clean and slightly sweet with corn — the review is accurate there. The palate gives you Very approachable, which is fine but a bit safe. I keep reaching for other bottles when I want to sip neat, but for cocktails it's hard to complain. The clean with gentle corn sweetness is clean.

Virtuous Vodka Ginger — Swedish Organic Spice is outstanding

The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got Invigorating and aromatic and subtle complexity. On the palate, the sharp character that feels authentic and unprocessed is beautifully done, and the with a warming ginger burn and a clean. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

It's a solid vodka. The nose has clean character and some subtlety, but on the palate the Well-balanced — flavour and grain in harmony doesn't quite deliver the complexity I was hoping for. The Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly is a bit brief. Still enjoyable though — I keep reaching for it when making cocktails rather than sipping neat.

Exceptional smoothness

As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get Natural and sophisticated — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Elegant and balanced with beautiful texture. Polmos Zyrardow / LVMH has clearly mastered their craft.

Blown away by this vodka

Bought this on the strength of the review here and I'm so glad I did. The vanilla on the nose are subtle but present, and the palate delivers — Pure and unadorned with wonderful texture. The finish has Short to medium that proves vodka is far from flavourless. Hats off to Phillips Distilling Company — this is exceptional craft. Already on my second bottle.

Nice but slightly overpriced

Good quality spirit but slightly overpriced for what it is. The white pepper is the highlight — Rich and complex — vanilla cream and well-presented. On the palate, the rye spice is fine but not exciting. At $30, I'd expect more character. The clove spice is pleasant but brief. A reliable mixer.

Stunning quality

What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you white flowers and Elegant and fruity with fresh grapes, and on the palate it's all about Fresh grape character with subtle fruit sweetness. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with smooth and clean with a gentle fruity sweetness. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.

Bit disappointed. The nose is fine — I got some of what the review mentions — but on the palate it's too one-dimensional. At £29.95, I expect more character. The Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly drops off quickly. The tasting notes in the review didn't match my experience. Might work better in cocktails than neat.

My new favourite vodka

Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with almond sweetness — I also picked up delicate notes that the review mentions. On the palate, Very well-balanced is spot on, and there's a star anise that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with clean and smooth with a gentle peppery warmth. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.

I can see why people rate this but it's not quite my favourite. The Clean and subtle with soft citrus is clean — really approachable — but the palate is a touch too neutral for my preferences. The light citrus is smooth and easy, which makes it good for vodka newcomers. I was expecting a bit more character given the editorial score.

Beautifully balanced

One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The nose promises quality, and the palate delivers with Well-balanced — flavour and grain in harmony. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The grain base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.
