Better than expected
Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the vanilla — that part is nice. But the Pure and unadorned didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the Short to medium is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.

Decent everyday vodka
A reliable pour that won't blow your mind but does the job. The nose has Clean and fresh with subtle corn sweetness — the review is accurate there. The palate gives you Pure and unadorned, which is fine but a bit safe. I keep reaching for other bottles when I want to sip neat, but for cocktails it's hard to complain. The Short to medium is clean.

Good but not great
Decent vodka for the price. The nose is clean — I got the vanilla that the review mentions — but the palate didn't wow me. The Pure and unadorned is fine but nothing special, and I'd have preferred more character coming through. That said, the Short to medium is clean enough. Works well in cocktails where you don't need a premium bottle.

Prairie Organic Vodka is outstanding
The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got vanilla and mineral freshness. On the palate, the Pure and unadorned is beautifully done, and the clean and pleasant with gentle sweetness. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

Stunning quality
What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you vanilla and lovely character, and on the palate it's all about Pure and unadorned. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with Short to medium. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.

Beautifully balanced
One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The vanilla promises quality, and the palate delivers with Pure and unadorned. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The Short to medium ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The corn base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.

On the palate, the Pure and unadorned is fine but not exciting. At $20, I'd expect more character. The Short to medium is pleasant but brief. A reliable mixer.

Simply brilliant
I keep coming back to this bottle and appreciating the subtlety. The vanilla on the nose is genuinely there if you take a moment to notice. On the palate, Pure and unadorned is rich and satisfying, with wonderful depth developing. A vodka that rewards attention. At 40% ABV, the proof is perfectly judged.

Exceptional smoothness
As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get mineral freshness — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Pure and unadorned with beautiful texture. Phillips Distilling Company has clearly mastered their craft.

Pleasant enough
I can see why people rate this but it's not quite my favourite. The Clean and fresh with subtle corn sweetness is clean — really approachable — but the palate is a touch too neutral for my preferences. The Pure and unadorned is smooth and easy, which makes it good for vodka newcomers. I was expecting a bit more character given the editorial score.

A standout bottle
Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you vanilla — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with Pure and unadorned and the corn character shines through. The Short to medium. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Phillips Distilling Company.

Blown away by this vodka
Bought this on the strength of the review here and I'm so glad I did. The vanilla on the nose are subtle but present, and the palate delivers — Pure and unadorned with wonderful texture. The finish has Short to medium that proves vodka is far from flavourless. Hats off to Phillips Distilling Company — this is exceptional craft. Already on my second bottle.
